AUSSIE ICONS will meet when the Mount Panorama circuit gets rocked with some of Australia’s most iconic music at this year’s Hi-Tec Oils Bathurst 6 Hour.
Arguably Australia’s best Cold Chisel / Jimmy Barnes tribute band ‘Last Stand’ will perform on the Saturday night of the Easter long weekend, with all ticketholders able to access the concert.
Last Stand, Chisel Barnes Show combines the best songs from iconic rock group Cold Chisel and the iconic tracks from Jimmy Barnes’ solo career.
As well as sporting the best ever on-track program in event history, the free concert for Saturday ticketholders adds another dimension to an already expanded off-track entertainment package at this year’s event.
A kids entertainment zone will see four inflatable ‘bouncing castles’ for kids to enjoy as well as face painting throughout the event.
Meanwhile, the Easter Bunny will visit the circuit on Sunday 12 April to add to the Easter celebrations. A bigger and better ‘Grab and Go’ outlet will be available in the paddock area.
Car displays / Show ‘n Shines and other yet-to-be announced innovations will make it the biggest and best 6-Hour yet.
Saturday General Admission tickets start at just $15 if purchased online prior to the event, while a three-day GA pass is just $40.
GA tickets include access to the grandstands, pit / paddock and the top of Mount Panorama.
KEN COLLIER – BATHURST 6 HOUR
“One of our goals was to build the off-track side of the Bathurst 6 Hour and adding a concert on the Saturday night does just that – it will be a great way to wrap up an exciting day that will see qualifying for the 6-Hour itself and the first ever TCR Australia race at Mount Panorama.
“The music of Cold Chisel and Jimmy Barnes is iconic and the ‘Last Stand’ boys are very excited to be performing it at Mount Panorama – it’s going to be a great show!
“The concert is all part of our expanded off-track package this year and for $15 for a Saturday ticket it makes for one of the best value days at the track this year.”
