THE 2020 HI-TEC OILS Bathurst 6 Hour event will be more fan and family-friendly than ever, with a range of new initiatives set to make the Easter Long weekend on the Mountain better than ever.
New ideas will be in place to cater to both the kids and the grown ups around the event precinct next April 10-12.
A entertainment zone will be in place to keep the kids busy thoughout the weekend. Befitting its position as Australia’s Easter Enduro, the Easter Bunny will also make an appearance on both days of the weekend while a blessing will be delivered prior to the running of the Hi-Tec Oils Bathurst 6 Hour race itself on Sunday.
Meanwhile, the Event is welcoming car clubs to display their vehicles across the weekend, as well as hosting a swap meet or show ‘n shine within the event precinct.
The upstairs restaurant in the pit building will return in 2020, providing patrons with an enclosed area to escape the elements throughout the weekend. An expanded ‘grab and go’ outlet will be available in the paddock area, also providing shelter from the elements and a spot to relax with a coffee or something to eat.
Promoters recently confirmed that the 2020 event will double as a round of the Shannons Nationals, as well as featuring a round of the TCR Australia Series. Australian GT will also feature on the support program, with further categories to be announced in due course.
