KRINCORP RACING LOCKS IN 6 HOUR DRIVERS, LIVERY

Krincorp Racing has announced the driver line-up for the Hi-Tec Oils Bathurst 6 Hour this coming April.

Tony Virag is back behind the wheel, after an A2 Class win and a 6th outright in the 2016 Hi- Tec Oils Bathurst 6hr, joined by Anthony Loscialpo who has an extensive racing experience with a 2013 Championship under his belt in Improved Production – Over Two Litre Class and Joe Krinelos, Team Owner, who has been racing consistently in the Production Touring Series since 2013.

For Tony, who combined with Jeremy Gray and Warren Millet, and Joe Krinelos as Team Manager, claimed a Class victory and 6th outright overall in the 2016 event, his objective for 2017 is clear.

“In 2016, we achieved success with simply being consistent. Even with some adversity, the Team did a great job getting us back out there and we got the car home with fantastic success.”

“This year, I think our mission is simple — Take the B2 Class win and get ourselves back on the podium”

“I have strong teammates and a great car. The VF is proving quick and the setup is well suited to Bathurst. This track is a favourite of all three Drivers and we’re pumped.”

Loscialpo has extensive racing experience and knows Bathurst intricately after his 3rd place podium finish in the 2013 Improved Production Car series. Then to top it, that same year, Anthony was the NSW Improved Production – Over Two Litre Champion.

“Tony and Joe are both committed drivers with a lot of experience in Production cars. With our hard-working Team, I think we have a good mix of knowledge and speed,” Loscialpo said.

“Of course we are going there to win. The team has won there before and they know what to do, but the race has never been so competitive so we’ll need to be at our best.”

Krinelos who as the Team Manager in 2016 oversaw TVR Racing bring home the goods, is excited now have the chance to complete more laps at Mount Panorama. Challenge Bathurst last November was a great opportunity for some seat time and combined with his steady Production Touring Car experience, he is feeling confident.

“The opportunity to race here is one I always look forward to, racing at Bathurst is the icing on the cake,” he said.

As in last year many of the winning TVR Team will be back working with Krincorp Racing, looking to repeat last year’s results and then some.

The team has also officially launched the livery for their #69 Holden VF Redline Craig Lowndes Edition racing in the Hi- Tec Oils Bathurst 6 Hour this Easter.

The VF Redline Craig Lowndes Edition has stayed true to its roots, keeping the Red Hot colour and the black bonnet stripe, ensuring the cars heritage is instantly recognizable as it’s showcased to an enthusiastic Australian audience.

Krincorp Racing Team Owner Joe Krinelos, who will race the car alongside co-drivers Anthony Loscialpo and Tony Virag is delighted to announce the Partners SBAC, Moore Stephens, Track Day Club, Dsportz and Tempest Air.

“Racing the car looking so fantastic, will be a thrill! This one of the last steps as we get ready to get out there and repeat the success of last year in the TVR GTS at the 2016 Hi Tec Oils Bathurst 6-hour,” said Krinelos.

“To be running with our Partner livery is the icing on the cake, and solidifies our commitment to those who have supported us.”

“I’d like to say a big thank you to all of our Partners, as well as our Team. They have done an incredible job bringing everything together and preparing the car to withstand the rigorous demands of racing a six-hour endurance race around the exciting Mount Panorama.”
