PACKED GRIDS TO TACKLE BATHURST MOTOR FESTIVAL

MORE THAN 270 Vehicles will take part in the Bathurst Motor Festival this Easter long weekend, an outstanding response to a new Event only announced late last year.

The massive entry has come from five race and two regularity-based categories all eager to get rare track time on the hallowed bitumen of Mount Panorama, with four classes featuring 40 or more cars in their respective entry lists.

BOWE AND JOHNSON HEAD UP V8 RACE EXPERIENCE RETURN TO BATHURST

THE RARE CHANCE to drive a V8-powered racing car at speed around Mount Panorama is set to offer fans an opportunity of a lifetime at the Bathurst Motor Festival this Easter.

The Event has teamed with the V8 Race Experience to offer fans the opportunity to drive themselves around the 6.213km circuit, in controlled conditions and with no speed limits or traffic, on the Monday following the three-day Motor Festival this Easter long weekend.

AUSSIE RACING CAR EXCITEMENT SET FOR BATHURST MOTOR FESTIVAL

PERHAPS THE MOST EXCITING RACING to feature on Australian circuits, the Aussie Racing Cars will return to Mount Panorama this Easter as a key component to the Bathurst Motor Festival on April 22-24.

Featuring half-scale, motorcycle powered racing cars with body shapes based on Holden Commodores, Ford Falcons and Toyota Aurions, the Aussie Racing Car category has been a success story for many years providing an affordable way into the sport but also some of the most intense and exciting race ever likely to be witnessed.

SPECIAL SALOON CAR EVENT SET FOR BATHURST MOTOR FESTIVAL

THEY MAY BE FIGHTING for supremacy in the age-old Holden versus Ford battle, but the Saloon Cars racing at the 2011 Bathurst Motor Festival this Easter will now have something higher to aim for.

Saloon Car organisers have inaugurated the Ashley Cooper 2011 Bathurst Saloon Car Challenge, to honour the life of the former Saloon Car, Commodore Cup and V8 Supercar racer across the April 22-24 long weekend.

CASH DONATION TO CHARITY GETS ENTRY TO BATHURST MOTOR FESTIVAL EVENT

ENTRY TO THE BATHURST MOTOR FESTIVAL precinct on April 22-24 will be by bank note donation, as the Event strives to support the important work undertaken by the Cancer Council of New South Wales.

Already one of the best-value weekends in Australian Motorsport, the three-day Event will be even more accessible and affordable for spectators whilst also supporting an important charitable cause like the Cancer Council and it’s Relay for Life program.
