BATHURST MOTOR FESTIVAL TO SUPPORT LEGACY
THE BATHURST Motor Festival will again support Legacy as the official charity of the 2016 Event.Legacy is a charity providing services to Australian families suffering financially and socially following the incapacitation or death of a spouse or parent during or after their defence force service.Legacy currently cares for more than 100,000 widows and nearly 2,000 children and disabled dependants throughout Australia.2016 marks the fifth year the Bathurst Motor Festival will have supported Legacy with more than $30,000 having been raised since 2012.Legacy representatives will be present throughout the Harris Park and pit / paddock precinct taking donations from those in attendance throughout the weekend.”We have been proud to support Legacy each year at the Bathurst Motor Festival and to be continuing the relationship this year,” explained Event Director James O’Brien.”Legacy is an outstanding cause and it is especially relevant this time of year as we get closer to ANZAC day and our thoughts turn towards those serving in the armed forces and their families.”We encourage everyone attending this weekend to help support this very worthwhile cause.”The Bathurst Motor Festival will be held across the March 25-27 Easter long weekend.
