SYDNEY BROTHERS TO RACE FOR A CURE
Sydney brothers Ben and Michael Kavich will ‘race for a cure’ for breast cancer in the 2017 Bathurst 6 Hour this Easter long weekend.Following Ben’s wife Toula’s diagnosis in April 2016 and their mother Mary in 2004 and grandmothe Grace in 2002, the brothers are taking action for all women affected by breast cancer. They will betaking to the track in the full pink liveried Race for a Cure Number 15 Subaru to raise money for the clinical trials research program funded by the Breast Cancer Institute of Australia (BCIA).”We hope that through this event, we can help make more clinical trials possible so that more lives can be saved and Australian families are spared from the heartache we’ve felt since my wife’sdiagnosis,” Mr Ben Kavich said.”Despite wonderful advances in medicine, too many people still die from breast cancer or struggle through painful treatments and we want to do our part to changethis.”Ben and Michael Kavich have had a long association with motor racing in Australia.
