KAVICH BROTHERS RACING FOR A CURE AT B6HR
Brothers and racing drivers, Ben and Michael Kavich are ‘Racing for a Cure’ in the Hi-Tec Oils Bathurst 6 Hour over the upcoming Easter long weekend.Whilst a podium finish is in their sights, raising funds and awareness for breast cancer trials research is what drives them.Following Ben’s wife Toula’s breast cancer diagnosis in April 2016, the brothers know of the pain and heartache breast cancer inflicts on individuals and families.”We hope that through ‘Race for a Cure’, we can raise the funds needed to make more clinical trials possible, because it’s trials research that leads to more lives saved,” Ben said. “Despite wonderful advances in medicine, too many people still die from breast cancer or struggle through painful treatments and we want to do our part to change this.”Ben and Michael will take to the track in the number 15 Race for a Cure Mitsubishi Evolution 10. Decked out with largely pink livery, the car is sure to stand out on race day. The brothers are competing in their third Bathurst 6 Hour with high hopes of a podium result having started on the last row of the grid in the 2017 event and finishing second in Class B1 and tenth outright.
