2019 BATHURST DATE CONFIRMED

THE Hi-Tec Oils Bathurst 6 Hour will continue the Bathurst Easter tradition when it returns to Mount Panorama on 19 to 21 April, 2019.It will mark the fourth running of the event that has now firmly entrenched itself as a staple of the local racing calendar, with big grids and sensational racing in the truest Bathurst tradition.A dramatic conclusion to the 2018 edition saw Iain and Grant Sherrin take victory driving a BMW M4.They passed three cars within the final half-hour of the Easter Sunday race to win a thriller ahead of Darren Jorgensen / Brett Strom (BMW 1M) and Steve Johnson / Rob Woods / Marcel Zalloua’s Mercedes-AMG A45.56 cars – from a 62-strong entry list – started the 2018 Event, broadcast live on FOX Sports for the first time.That, coupled with International coverage via the Radio Show Ltd Network this year, saw the event reach record audiences in 2018.The Event also partnered with the Bathurst Regional Council to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the first racing event at Mount Panorama.Meanwhile, a bumper support program saw more than 250 competitors in total tackle the Mountain across the Easter Long weekend.Full details surrounding the 2019 Event, including the full support race program and broadcast details, will be announced later this year.
