Expressions of interest opened for 2023 B6HR Support program
EXPRESSIONS of interest are now open for support categories interested in participating in the 2023 Hi-Tec Oils Bathurst 6 Hour event.
To be held across the Easter long weekend (April 7-9, 2023), a limited number of support event slots are open on what is traditionally a bumper weekend of racing.
In 2022, Supercheap Auto TCR Australia, Turtle Wax Trans Am, MRF Tyres Nissan Pulsar series, NSW Historic Touring Cars and HQ Holdens competed in the build-up to Australia’s largest Production Car enduro.
Much like the headline race, the Bathurst 6 Hour event has traditionally given the opportunities opportunity to categories that might not otherwise have the opportunity chance to compete at Mount Panorama.
Demand is expected to be high for a position on the Bathurst 6 Hour event program in 2023, with interested categories welcome to contact the event team via the Hi-Tec Oils Bathurst 6 Hour website; www.bathurst6hour.com.au.
KEN COLLIER – Event Director, Hi-Tec Oils Bathurst 6 Hour
“We’re always looking for categories that might want to grab an opportunity to race at Mount Panorama and be part of the Bathurst 6 Hour week,” Collier said.
“This year our support program provided big fields and lots of great racing, which is great for the competitors and great for the spectators who come to the circuit and watch on TV.
“We are in the process of looking ahead to 2023 and building the on-track program so we have put the call out to categories around Australia to put their hands up.
“We always have more demand for a position on the event than we have space, but it’s good to know who is out there and see if there is a great new addition that can add value to the event.
“The Hi-Tec Oils Bathurst 6 Hour is an amateur team and family focussed event with great on-site camping and a highly organised but relaxed atmosphere. I encourage any category that is thinking about a round at our event to contact me so that you can be considered.”
