Six-hour winner up for sale
ONE of the most successful cars in recent Hi-Tec Oils Bathurst 6 Hour history is up for sale.
The BMW M4 driven to victory in the 2021 race by Shane Smollen, Rob Rubis and Shane van Gisbergen has been listed on the market this week.
It stands as perhaps the best possible way to enter the already oversubscribed 2023 race with machinery that could deliver outright success immediately.
After winning in 2021, the car returned as the defending champion the following year and finished third outright, with Smollen and Rubis joined by Nick Percat last year.
The car is also a winner in key Australian Production Cars and Queensland state championship races across the last several seasons.
