Fan favourite entry locks in 2025 Bathurst comeback

THE TEAM ‘living the Dream’ with a fan-favourite car will return to the Hi-Tec Oils Bathurst 6 Hour this year.

710 Motorsport were a surprise smash hit of the 2024 race thanks to their venerable and now iconic Toyota Camry, which ultimately finished 33rd outright and eighth in class last year.

The team returns this year with Hervey Bay-based drivers Russell Greaves, Darren Goodard and Shane Logan back for more in a car that became the clear fan favourite across the event, generating a wave of public support via social media and at the circuit across the event.

The 1998-model Camry will retain its iconic livery – though with added sponsorship support this year – as it returns to the circuit it first raced nearly 30 years ago.

The car remains the only one in Bathurst history to contest the Bathurst 1000 and the Bathurst 6 Hour, while it also tackled the 3-Hour ‘showroom showdown in its time.

“The show of support both at the track and online last year was very humbling, so this year we will give the people what they want and that is more Camry action!” said driver Shane Logan.

“Whilst the team love to have a bit of fun with their racing outside of the car, last year we proved that even the biggest Pro-Am race in the country is no barrier to any amateur driver with a dream and enough dedication to make it happen.”

The Camry will again be entered in Class D among what is shaping as a capacity grid for the Easter enduro.

Tickets, camping and VIP hospitality options remain on sale via the Bathurst 6 Hour website, with the event to be held across the April 18-20 weekend.
