Harding Performance Unveils New Volkswagen Golf Mk8 R for 2025 Bathurst 6 Hour
Harding Performance, a renowned name in motorsport, is gearing up to compete in the 2025 Bathurst 6 Hour with a brand new Volkswagen Golf Mk8 R.
Following a strong performance in last year’s event—where the #222 car, a Volkswagen Golf R, finished fourth outright and first in Class A1, the team is ready to elevate their game with this latest build.
The Volkswagen Golf Mk8 R represents the cutting edge of the iconic Golf lineup, blending high performance with advanced engineering. Engineered by Guy Harding, this model marks a significant upgrade from last year’s car, promising improved speed, handling, and reliability on one of Australia’s most challenging circuits. Cem Yucel & Iain Salteri, seasoned drivers at Mt Panorama, are once again piloting the Harding Performance Golf.
Salteri shared his enthusiasm for the upcoming race:
“We’re thrilled to be back at Bathurst with this incredible new car. The Golf Mk8 R is a significant step up from last year, and we can’t wait to push it to its limits on this iconic track.”
