2026 Bathurst 6 Hour Entries now open
ENTRIES for the 2026 running of Bathurst’s biggest enduro – the Hi-Tec Oils Bathurst 6 Hour – are now open.
The 10th running of the annual Easter enduro will be held across the 3-5 April weekend with demand expected to be once again high for what is the largest grid for an Australian circuit racing event.

The event enjoys stability in regulations this year with limited changes to the event sporting and technical regulations approved by Motorsport Australia.
The only major evolution is dedicated to increase track time for Bathurst 6 Hour competitors: an extra hour of practice time allocated across the event to ensure all drivers have an opportunity to gain meaningful seat time prior to qualifying and the race.
Additionally, practice one on Friday morning will be split into two sections – along class lines – in an effort to offer clearer track conditions for the first on-track session of the weekend.
The additional Bathurst 6 Hour track time will result in one fewer support category on the event program, however also adds more flexibility in the case of on-track or weather delays.
In 2025, a record 71 cars started the race from a capacity 72-car entry. It stands as the largest ever endurance racing grid at Mount Panorama and included for the first time in Bathurst 6 hour history a reserve entry following an earlier withdrawal following an accident in practice on Saturday.
Event organisers expect another capacity field in 2026 and will again welcome reserve entrants, who wish to be on ‘hot standby’ across the event should the opportunity to arise to compete.
Entry information including the online form and regulations are available online from the Bathurst 6 Hour website, www.bathurst6hour.com.au.
“If early interest is any indication we will be on course to fill the grid again,” said Bathurst 6 Hour Category Manager Charise Bristow.
“With more than 80 entries in total lodged for the 2025 race, we encourage people to enter early and quickly to secure their spot on the grid.
“The grid is capped at 72 cars however once again we will accept reserve entries who wish to remain entered in case of any withdrawals in the weeks leading up to the event or, as we saw this year, at the event itself.
“The quality of the field, the effort the teams put in and the good vibes in the paddock keep getting better and better each year so we’re all really excited to see who lines up at Easter next year.”
Tickets and camping are already on sale for the 2026 event with strong early demand.
This year, a record three-day crowd of more than 20,000 attended the event. 2026 Campground pre-sales have already commenced to existing site holders with hundreds of sites already snapped up.
The Easter Enduro weekend remains one of the best value motorsport experiences in Australia with a three-day General Admission pass, which allows access to the entire precinct plus paddock and pit building, just $60.
The 2025 Hi-Tec Oils Bathurst 6 Hour was claimed outright by the BMW M2 Competition driven by Dean Campbell and Cameron Crick, who set a record by winning from the lowest ever starting position in Bathurst history of 66th position in the closest ever B6HR finish of just 0.8 seconds.
