Autoglym to recognise the standout Bathurst 6 Hour team
Teams competing in this weekend’s Hi-Tec Oils Bathurst 6 Hour will have extra incentive to keep their cars shining and race operations looking sharp, with a bigger prize than ever for the Best Presented Team award made possible by premium car care brand, Autoglym.
Autoglym is globally renowned for its high-quality car shampoo, snow foams, polishes and waxes, which have been designed and manufactured in the United Kingdom since 1965.
Autoglym’s products are sold throughout Australia by all trusted, major retailers of automotive accessories.
Building on an award introduced to the event in 2023, the prize for the Autoglym Best Presented Team has increased to $1,000 cash for the 2026 event.
The award recognises the team which represents the highest standards of:
- Car Presentation – livery/aesthetic appeal, overall vehicle finish and decal placement
- Crew Presentation – team apparel and consistent appearance
- Pit Garage Presentation
- General team attitude, organisation and compliance
- First run in 2016, the Hi-Tec Oils Bathurst 6 Hour is one of the major endurance races to take place annually at the legendary Mount
- Panorama circuit and is the pinnacle event for production-based cars in Australian motorsport.
The race will be televised live, free and in full on SBS from 11:00am-5:30pm AEST on Easter Sunday, along with qualifying and support races from 1:00pm-5:30pm AEDT on Saturday.
Simulcast and additional coverage is available on Fox Sports 506 and Kayo Sports, with further, early morning coverage live-streamed free on YouTube, Facebook and SBS On Demand.
