THE BEST WAY for fans of motor sport to celebrate Easter is by becoming a volunteer at the 2017 Hi-Tec Oils Bathurst 6 Hour. 250 volunteers are currently being recruited for the 14-16 April Event that will this year not only include a vast array of racing categories, but also the second running of the Hi-Tec Oils Bathurst 6 Hour enduro.Quickly becoming one of Bathurst’s iconic races, the 2017 6-hour is looking likely to field a capacity 72-car field for the first time. Positions are available for both CAMS accredited officials – for positions like flag marshals – and non-accredited positions where formal training is not necessary yet support is still needed. All Event volunteers receive a three-day race pass, campground site, jacket, shirts, cap, poster, meals and a complimentary guest pass – as well as the closest possible access to the cars, circuit and precinct possible.Details and nomination forms are available online by clicking here.”Volunteers are the lifeblood of the sport and it simply cannot function without them,” said Event Director James O’Brien.”The Hi-Tec Oils Bathurst 6 Hour has always been well supported by enthusiastic officials who love spending the long weekend at Mount Panorama.
